Methods Lab · Survival Lab
Explore survival, follow-up and censoring.
Simulate two synthetic groups and compare generating survival with observed Kaplan–Meier curves, uncertainty and people at risk.
What it explores
Choose sample size, baseline risk, hazard ratio, follow-up, latent dropout probability and seed. Events are exponential with constant proportional hazards; dropout is independent. Inspect pointwise 95% log–log intervals and download eight reproducible outputs.
Assumptions and limits
The hazard ratio is not a risk ratio. Latent dropout probability is not the observed censored fraction. Intervals at survival 0 or 1 are unavailable rather than perfectly precise. This version has no Cox model, log-rank test, p-values, power, competing risks or real-data import.
Reproduce and export
Observed and latent data, dictionary, parameters, standalone R script, plot PNG, summary and risk-table CSV. Edited controls remain pending until Simulate; downloads retain the last successful result.
Synthetic simulation in your browser
These apps generate synthetic participants only. Calculations run in browser memory; no R installation is required. Initial loading downloads the R runtime and packages. Language changes preserve controls and executed results.
